Mrs. Akinosho-Thomas Adetokunbo Olutoyin was born on November 28, 1960. Her Primary Education was at Our Lady of Lourdes School, Clegg Street Surulere, Lagos. Her Secondary Education took place at Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls’ Secondary School, Commercial Avenue Yaba, Lagos where she obtained her West African School Certificate-1977/78.
She furthered her Education at Lagos State College of Education Ijanikin, where she earned National Certificate in Education (NCE), in English Language-1986.
Still in quest of Higher Educational level, she enrolled for Bachelor’s Degree in Education at the University of Lagos Akoka. She graduated with B.A Hons., Second Class Upper in 1994. Thereafter, she studied Journalism at the Nigeria Institute of Journalism, Ogba Ikeja in 1996, where she succeeded in obtaining Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. She also bagged the John Hopkins Award for Best Student in Investigative Journalism in 1996.
Her unquenchable quest for knowledge and a higher enhanced Status Quo, led her to the British Council Volunteering Group, where she was awarded DFID Scholarship to study Mass
Communications Research at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. She graduated from the University in 2005 with a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications.
Mrs. Akinosho-Thomas Started her Career as a Public Servant in the Education Sector. She later transferred her Service to Ministry of Information and Culture as an Information Officer in 1993.
She served in various capacities in most of the MDA’S in Lagos State.

“Born to Rule”; “ Igbehin a Dun”; “Benita”; “ Orekelewa.”
She is currently Deputy Director Public Affairs, Lagos State Audit Service Commission.
