Mrs. Shode Adenrele was born to Alhaji and Alhaja Rufai Adebanbo Akintola-Balogun. She started her Primary School at Ireti Primary School Ikoyi 1976-1982. She went to Shams-Elden Grammar School 1983-1988. She was at that time the Head Prefect. She later proceeded to Lagos State University to study English Language between 1990-1995. . Her one year compulsory NYSC programme was at Chevron Nigeria Limited between 1996-1997. She did her post graduate at the Nigeria Institute of Journalism (1998), Post Graduate Public Relation (1998), Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (PGDPR 2015).
She started her career journey at the Ministry of Education 2000-2001. She later proceeded to the Office of the Chief Of Staff between 2001-2005. She was later redeployed to board of Internal Revenue now LIRS between 2005- Dec. 2005. She was moved again to Motor Vehicle Authority A between 2006-2010. Ministry Special Duties in 2010-2014, LASFVCA between 2014-2015, Public Procurement Agency 2015-2016, Home Affairs 2016-2017, Office of Special Adviser of Education 2017-2018.
She was redeployed in 2018 to Audit Service Commission. She is currently the Head, Audit Development &Training.
